A development in recent years has infuriated many owners of beautiful vehicles. The otherwise well-kept interiors of great cars are becoming unsightly and untouchable. But now something can be done about it.
Who doesn't get annoyed when plastic parts, or rather their surface, dissolve and become sticky in their Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche or any other vehicle? An unpleasant phenomenon that many renowned manufacturers of exclusive cars have obviously not foreseen. A change that is not caused by a lack of maintenance, exposure to sunlight or the use of cleaning and care products. The “soft-touch” coating on switches, handles and covers degrades over time and therefore becomes ugly and sticky. The result - black fingers and stubborn stains on clothes.
We have a solution to this problem in our workshop in Münsingen. The affected parts are carefully removed, repaired if necessary, cleaned, recolored, provided with new symbols and protected with a layer of clear varnish. This is followed by professional installation and a subsequent functional check. These parts then look like new again, are pleasant to touch and will definitely never stick again.
Many owners of affected vehicles of various makes have had this refurbishment carried out by us. All of them were delighted with the result and are now looking forward to being able to drive their cars in future without this very restrictive defect.
There are always a few “patients” on the registration list and many customers use the winter break to have this work carried out. It goes without saying that the whole procedure takes some time. It usually takes 4 to 5 weeks from delivery of the vehicle to completion.
Customers often use this time to make use of our highly qualified and experienced workshop. Major and minor service and repair work can also be carried out professionally during this period.
In the meantime, the cars being worked on are stored in our own premises, free of charge for the customer, fully secured and protected. A collection and delivery service is also available on request.
